Open Access Bookmarking - Version flagging and institution level control of what would be offered

Hello, we've been looking at the Open Access Bookmarking option and have decided that it is not currently something we can add but have specific areas where if it were improved we may decide to add.

  • at point of book marking the list creator/editor need to be notified what version the OA link would go to, as our concern if that they may link to a submitted version of an article, when we have a subscription to the published version available

OR

  • give the library the ability to limit what version are included, so for instance only show if the published version is OA or if the Author accepted manuscript is available (I'm unsure about what the database you use stores, but I know that Unpaywall do have this tracked and coded in theirs)

      HI Jill,

Thanks for your ideas. In regards to displaying versions, we do not have this in immediate plans but have kept them in the backlog for future consideration.

      Kind regards,

      The Product Team
