Retention of sort order filtering in Reviews

If we sort the resource list by list order in the Reviews page and edit an item, the screen refreshes and returns to the default list view rather than the list order as originally sorted. I understand the sort order reverting to the default is expected behaviour because there is no retention mechanism to keep the filter set after navigating away from the Review screen. Would it be possible see the retention of sort order filtering become a feature? This would be a lot more efficient when working on lists in reviews and would save having to re-find the item on the list or re-sort to continue working in list order.
