It would be useful to receive an alert or to be able to run a report to check for any instances of "DCS SubmitRequest unsuccessful" appearing in the comment of a request.
Currently if a DCS submission request is unsuccessful, the request sits within the requests overview, often not known about until a colleague asks about their scan requests. Without any kind of alert or report, scanning teams don't know that they need to manually check and investigate the request. It's even more misleading when the daily DCS Request Synchronisation Report report no failures. These unknown unsuccessful requests can massively hinder the scanning workflow and delay scanning work being carried out, particularly at busy times of the year/semesters.
Hi Lisa, I can provide request numbers from our Talis Aspire DCS Integration if this would be useful? Would it be easier if I logged a support ticket?
Hi,
We have been discussing this with our tech team. Could you share with us some example cases where this problem has occurred so that we can investigate this further?
Thanks for your feedback! We will discuss this with our wider team. Best, Product team.
