In the review section it is possible to select an outcome and write a comment about an item or all instances of an item, which is very useful. However, it is not possible to remove the comment. That would be useful I think. e.g: when you wrote down 'ordered this book', and a week later 'we received 20 copies of the book', then the earlier comment becomes obsolete. Has this idea been raised before?
Displaying outcomes on a sperate tab does not fit our current processes, and involves more clicking than previously, and I'd expect it to slow us down when we have a lot of reading lists published/republished.
It would help if it was possible to filter (eg by outcomes log date), or be able to customise the display (eg only latest outcome recorded).
Default is all outcomes, would make morde sense to me if the default was for the reading list item.
Thanks, Nial - We will look at technical feasibility for numerous ways to make comments more usable for you - edit, delete, collapse, mark complete, view author/creator, date stamp, etc. Any specific examples (screenshots) from folks where it shows what's difficult will be helpful too. Thanks in advance!
This may be implied in the original post, but I'd like to add that it would be useful to be able to edit existing comments, as well as delete them.
Thank you for your feedback. This has been raised before and is part of our Reviews theme of work for 2024. Best, Georgia
