Currently the student number on lists has to be updated manually and individually.
This is timeconsuming and tedious.
It would be wonderful if the student numbers on lists could be updated in bulk via an uploaded report, the same way hierarchy nodes student numbers are updated.
(While this can be achieved using third-party tools, this should be a built-in feature!)
Update: Or better yet, some kind of auto-syncing magical LTI between our enrolment systems and lists..?
This would be a very useful change. The student numbers on the resource list are not a reliable data point at the moment, because they have to be manually added, and as such are only updated very rarely.
The issue of student numbers is clearly important and was also raised during user discovery for Reviews & Acquisitions. I am putting this on hold to see if it is handled within the initial Reviews & Acquisitions designs, else we can assess it for follow up enhancements. I think there may be some parts of this out of our control, but I will work with dev to understand the technical feasibility.
I wholeheartedly agree! Especially since it is the List student numbers which are being pulled through to Review (and not the student numbers against the Hierarchy.) We base purchase decisions on these numbers so it is crucial these numbers are correct.
