Enable users to embed list sections within existing Canvas/LMS pages

Currently list sections need to be embedded as separate pages in Canvas/LMSs

Our academics would prefer course content to be more integrated, by being able to embed list sections into their existing Canvas pages.

As they cannot do this, they opt to embed hyperlinks to resources in LMS pages, rather than using Talis reading lists in general.

This increased level of integration would significantly improve academics uptake of the Talis system, and the library's ability to manage the accessibility of resources for students.

Until the LTI functionality aligns with how academics prefer to present resources to students in LMSs, convincing them to use Talis (despite its benefits) is an uphill battle.

(Eg. in the attached examples, hyperlinks are shared in a boxes or sections within Canvas pages -- academics want to be able to embed list sections in these boxes and sections within their existing pages, rather than on separate pages)
