We would like to consider this when we next review the acquisitions area of Talis Aspire.

Personally being able to use the terms Legislation and Case would make a big difference to all my Law courses

We’ve introduced this capability in the new reviews area and we will review how it can be exposed elsewhere in the system

Whilst the concierge checks the vault and copy limits on any requests received, there may be a need to check in advance of placing a request by digitisation staff, so improved searching is something we would like to address but is not currently in our near term development focus.

We would like to improve the ability to display as much info that we have about a resource even if it is not the specific format that was originally bookmarked.
A redesign of how we display holdings would probably be required and this is not currently in our short term development focus.
This idea so it has been moved to the longer term backlog. It will be merged with a similar existing idea.

The capabilities in TADC utilise checks against services such as xISBN to determine latest editions. We are investigating utilising the capabilities which drive the Quick Add and Dashboard 2.0 features (based on data served from NBD) in the reviews refresh we are investigating at the moment. Deeper integrations with suppliers are not currently in scope for the improvements we would like to make, but they are certainly areas of investigation for the future.

We had some discussions with Coutts towards the end of last year about this and they need to do some work. As they are migrating to a new version of their site iPage, they advised that they would make the changes for the new site. We will need to touch base with them again to catch up on their migration and plans for implementing the requested change

We won’t be focusing on this now due to low votes in the 2012 Ideas Survey. However, we do feel that the ability to attach documents to reading lists would be useful, so its in our longer term backlog

Think word copying may not fit bill as a lot of material I would want to link to is in the form of official documents a Word copy wouldn't be as authoritative as a Home Office pdf and not sure change of format would not breach Open Government Licence

It would also help academics supply better information if they could see expected fields. Whilst Aspire is not a referencing/ciation tool most academics want to try and model best practice for their students so just adopting the standard fields for books, chapters, articles would be really useful.

The lack of detailed communication around individual items at begining and end of review process and on the start of a second review is a major bugbear.
