We will be enabling this as part of the New List Edit so that you can perform the same View and Export options as you can without needing to switch to the student view.

I seem to recall it being available in the hierarchy snapshot at some point in the past. It's surprising that the data isn't available to download again once you have uploaded it.
And yes, there are often discrepancies between the List student number and the Hierarchy student number. Having them both visible in the All Lists report would be useful.

We are currently reviewing this idea as this is an interesting concept and one we would like to explore further. If anyone would like to add their use case to this ticket it would be helpful to understand all scenarios.

We think this is a valuable idea and something we will wish to investigate in the future, however its not in our near term development focu so its on our longer term backlog

We would like to consider this when we next review the acquisitions area of Talis Aspire.

We would like to add some additional resource types.
However, this is not currently in our near term development focus so it has been moved to the longer term backlog.
Ideas may be graduated from the backlog as we get through the ones that are planned.

I'd like to add the resource "Extract". Academics ask for scanned readings that are not necessarily whole chapters.

I would consider the inclusion of "Extract" as a new resource type to be more urgent, following the changes in the CLA license last August.
Academics are increasingly aware that they are able to digitise up to 10% of a book to provide as a scanned reading. Often, this 10% will not refer just to a single chapter, but a range of pages that might stretch over two, or even three chapters. Or the 10% extract could be from a range of non-contiguous pages.
Similarly the extract to be scanned might be a range of pages that comprises less than a Chapter! So having a resource type available that accurately describes the resource would be useful. Some academics don't want to describe a bookmark as a Chapter when it is not a chapter.

LSE would also like this functionality enabled.

The reviews refresh will be ensuring we capture this data but in the first instance will not be providing this report. We will return to this once the new reviews is up and running so it has been moved to the longer term backlog.
Ideas may be graduated from the backlog as we get through the ones that are planned.

Thumbs up for this. Frustrating having to exit Reviews 2 and then go into List Edit mode to edit the student or library note.

100% agree - the process should be replaced with a simple upload of a CSV file to Talis Aspire, with the same conditional formatting that Joe has explained in his tool. In the same way that we upload data to do a hierarchy update.
That is all that should really be necessary for customers to do. Would love to see this happen!
