We have been reviewing this idea following on from the list edit work that has been taking place and would like to now explore this piece further.
This is an example of how an idea may be declined at a point in time but as we explore and develop new areas we do review all ideas past and present and consider them all.

Just been asked about this by a colleague on behalf of an academic, as being a valuable tool.
I think it would be as useful a feature in New List Edit as it appeared to be, according to the number of requests under Classic Edits lifetime.Clair Sharpe supported this idea ·

Thank you for all the feedback relating to the sections and the difficulties around defining them. We will be making some changes to these to make them more distinct. We will update as these become available.

With the changes to the list edit screens we are keen to review this and make it possible to undo some actions within the list.

We have begun work on the anonymising of user profiles. If you have anyone that raises this under GDPR before this work is released then please do raise a support ticket with the details.

We’ve introduced this capability in the new reviews area and we will review how it can be exposed elsewhere in the system

A comment from one of our academics at the University of Liverpool about why it would be useful to be able to hide a section of a list -
They aren't covering some topics this year, but will be doing so next year, so wondered if they could hide bits of their reading list this academic year and reincorporate them next year.
