Currently there is no quick way of telling if a profile is new, disused, or defunct.
It would be very helpful if:
the 'Last Login' column in 'All User Profiles' was sortable
profiles were labelled as 'active' by default when they are created
profiles are labelled as inactive whe they not logged into for a year.
system admins could change a status to inactive when the person resigns/retires
a new 'Status' column and filter was added in 'All User Profiles', so results can be sorted/filtered as active or inactive
a new 'Created date' column and filter was added in 'All User Profiles', so we can see when new profiles are created
This would make it clear which users we need to engage with, and which we do not.
We have just been grappling with how to handle an ongoing process to identify and delete users we know have left. Sarah's ideas all sound ideal to me, especially being able to flag profiles as inactive, that way we could, annually export a list of those to have bulk-deleted.
