Would it be possible to aid those of trying to sell the software to academics to create some longish lists divided by Format/Theme/Week and Reading priority for Broadminster these would be good to get Academics thinking about the structure of their lists. Even one list duplicated and divided in four different ways would work. As a newbie I'm struggling to find particularly week by week readings2 votes
Looking at this now, we feel that this requirement can be served by taking a look at the very good real world examples displayed in our “List of the week” blog which can be found at http://www.talisaspire.com/blog/
When a user logs in for the first time, they are directed to a customer-configurable help location. This location can vary depending on whether or not the SAML response indicates that they are a student or staff user.2 votes
There are no plans to implement this.
It would be good to have a way of transferring one institution’s Talis Aspire reading list to another institution’s Talis Aspire if an academic is moving.1 vote
We will not be focusing on this idea now due to low votes in 2012 Ideas Survey.
When a user is asked to choose a department in the profile, this is potentially useful, but could be improved. If the departments to choose from were actually the schools that we have set up in our hierarchy, that would be much more appropriate. (We would perhaps need the option for someone to pick more than one, but this wouldn't be essential if not possible.)1 vote
