Allow customisation of List Owner email
When you make someone owner of a list, we need to be able to know what is sent to them and be able to customise this notice. The invite system allows customisation of part of the message (I have a separate request in here to allow full customisation and to be able to set a different default text), and the list owner alerts should also be customisable - both by setting a new default in an admin console, and on the fly when a particular list is given an owner.
7 votesWe do intend to investigate the introduction of a dictionary tool which would enable configuration of local messages. This will be reviewed and prioritised following the completion of the Db re-architecture but is not a current priority

Improved handling of expired sessions
When a user has left their Aspire view inactive for a period of time sufficient for their session to expire, clicking on a permissions based action (like an Edit action) produces the plain text error
You do not have permission to edit this resource (403)
Could such a expired session request be routed instread back to the Tenancy appropriate login? screen?

Alerts of system problems on the screen they affect
When there are known system problems - e.g. bookmarking isn't working, or list editing will have errors, or My Lists aren't loading, or functionality is unavailable due to maintenance etc - there should be an alert on the relevant screen to inform the user of this.
It will stop the endless amount of reports to site admins and then to you, all reporting the same thing and duplicating time and effort. It would also be a more positive experience for the user, as they will be assured that a problem is known about and is being investigated, rather than just…

Ideas may be graduated from the backlog as we get through the ones that are planned.
