Make sections background more colourful (perhaps the same blue as in the classic edit or something to make them stand out more. )
Since the new list edit it seems harder to spot the sections because the background colour used is not so prominent and it doesn't make it easy to spot sections or to spot where a section ends especially when dragging items to the bottom of a long section. It would be great if the background colour was a little more obvious either more saturated (obviously taking into account accessibility) or a perhaps a different colour to the rest of the list. Thank you.

Thank you for all the feedback relating to the sections and the difficulties around defining them. We will be making some changes to these to make them more distinct. We will update as these become available.

I'd give this all five of my votes at the moment having recently trained 11 new temporary staff to do lists and seeing things 'floating around' .
Its definitely a 50 Shades of Grey scenario on lists when moving things about :)

Also, it is not clear when dragging, dropping or inserting new items where exactly you are when you try to add between items or sections because the space between them is small so it would be better for the line to add resources, sections and paragraphs to fall clearly between items rather than as it does now.

Good idea.

We've had feedback on lack of contrast from library and academic staff, we would like to see improvements on this too.

This is ultimately about accessibility so please can this be expedited?

Agreed - it's hard to even point out when training staff on-screen!

Yes please.

Great idea! I'm struggling so the academics will!

Even worse, we get lots of accidentally-nested sections where because of the lack of contrast, lecturers don't realise that they've made Week 7 a subsection of Week 6 which is a subsection of Week 5 etc... all the way back to Week 1! Takes *forever* to unpick!

Agree ! I've seen so many lists with items not in sections because sections are not clear to distinguish between.
