Exporting a List in Word or Rich Text Format
Add Word or Rich Text format to the options to Export.
Some of our lecturers like to hand our paper copies of the reading list to students and the current export is very bulky and quite difficult to format as a PDF and because of the extra images tends to actually be quite long.
Ideally they would like a stripped down version that would just have the core details (i.e. the text without hyperlinks and images) presented as formatted text (ideally in a selected citation style).

List owners need to download their lists with full bibliographic details to add to programme and module validation documents. As it stands the 'download list' option does not give enough detail and the 'download bibliography pdf' has to be copied and pasted into Word which loses line and paragraph returns. The pasted list is very time-consuming to re-space which is inconvenient for our academic colleagues. Many have adopted Talis wholeheartedly and created their lists within the system, but this issue serves as a disincentive for future use of the product.
