A keyword search for e.g. book titles within Talis Aspire
The ability to search for book titles within the Talis Aspire tenancy from a search box, thus allowing users to see if books are on other lists.

We have added in functionality to the All List Items report to allow you to search by title and ISBN allowing you to identify where book titles are being used across your tenancy.

The search function in the all lists report is pretty useless. It isn't a keyword search - it seems to be a string match, so if you don't include punctuation it won't find anything. It also appears to work only on book titles which the report itself doens't tell you.

This would be really useful to easily see if students are being asked to read the same items on different module. Avoiding duplication is important

At Aston we would find this facility really useful as we very often need to see if items are on several lists or just one. We used this functionality of being able to search for a specific item a lot on our previous reading list system so would dearly love for it to also be available in Talis.

This would be incredibly useful...please, please can you look at introducing it! To be able to look up a book & check the lists it's on is something I would use frequently. Thanks.

This has been suggested in one way or another every year so far, but somehow never seems to make it out of the backlog section despite having a large number of votes.

This would be very useful to quickly check if a book is on any reading list e.g. if we have recently bought an ebook version or want to withdraw a book. Alternately If the export to .csv function in All List Items was immediate this would suffice.

Coming late to this as we're only just getting going with our Reading lists, but this would be really really useful. We are going to be checking our High Demand Holds against reading lists and doing it via the All items report is very fiddly.

Also, can you confirm where this will be available? At TAUG the only mention was of an ISBN search in the All Reviews screen, but that would then make it available only to library acquisitions staff - is that the plan? We'd really like the search to be more widely available and work on data other than ISBNs too, so hopefully that was an unrelated enhancement!

Can you confirm what exactly will be searched? Is it just the title field within items? Several times now we've wanted to do searches by publisher... an Advanced Search option allowing us to pick the item field/s we want to search would be brilliant! (Author, title, publisher, date, ISBN, ...)
(Incidentally, will the results list allow us to limit, as well? E.g. by resource type.)
