Manual entry - fields appear automatically according to resource type selected
Would be helpful, when using manual add, if once you had selected the resource type, a standard set of entry fields could appear automatically, as appropriate to the type of resource, e.g. for article, 'author', 'page numbers', 'part of' & for journals, 'volume', 'date' etc.

It would be incredibly useful to have the most commonly used fields ready for data entry when creating or editing a bookmark.
e.g. when entering an Article manually, or editing an existing article, I almost always need to add:
- Journal tab (with Journal title and ISSN)
- Article title
- Author
- Volume
- Issue
- Date
- Page numbersFor books I mostly need to add:
- Title
- Author
- Date
- PublisherAt the moment I have to select and add each of these fields in turn, which is fiddly and time-consuming, especially when I'm adding multiple resources. It would be much more helpful if the system had these fields ready and waiting for me to enter the data when I choose the relevant item type.

It would also help academics supply better information if they could see expected fields. Whilst Aspire is not a referencing/ciation tool most academics want to try and model best practice for their students so just adopting the standard fields for books, chapters, articles would be really useful.

As we are still in the stage of library staff creating lists, and adding a vast number of bookmarks linking to electronic articles for some of our subjects, a standard set of entry fields would speed the process up!
