Ability to amend a URL when linking a digitisation to a Reading list in Aspire
We had an incidence when a digitisation request was raised by one of our Library staff and they inadvertently linked the digitisation to the wrong URL within the reading list in aspire.
Instead of being able to delete the incorrect URL and replacing it with the correct one, the complete request had to be withdrawn and resubmitted.
It would have been great if we could have just changed the URL and reloaded the original request.
Would this be possible please?

We would definitely like to be able to amend the reading list link in a digitisation request. Withdrawing and resubmitting the digitisation request is time consuming, it would be really helpful if we could amend this link quickly and easily.

We've had a similar situation recently where we have archived a few lists in error (due to inaccurate information on SITS suggesting the modules were not running this year, when in fact they are...) and as the lists cannot be 'unarchived' but have to be copied over to make new ones, any digitised content on these lists needs re-linking.
It would be so much easier to just edit the URL in the existing digitisation requests then have to copy it over, withdraw the original one (which sends an automated email to the requester whch we cannot suppress - not ideal as this can cause confusion to academics despite our explanatory notes, or just overload them with emails) then be allowed to process the new duplicate one.
It's great that we can now edit data in live requests such as chapter/section, author etc, but please can the 'link to reading list item' also be editable? Even if you 'replace' the request there is no option to change this bit, so it means a lot of extra admin. I can't see why it isn't already editable, as which list it links to surely doesn't have any bearing on copyright.

this is a good idea too and should be included within the wider editing function.
