Filter TADC request list 'All stages' by blank
A team of us deal with TADC requests and assign stages e.g. Book on order. We would like the ability to filter the request list to see only the requests which haven't been assigned a status so we do not visit requests unnecessarily.

We are reviewing this idea to see if it will be possible to filter items by no stage set.

Having defined a stage 'covid' to reflect items where I have linked to temporarily free resources, I would really like to be able to have the stage itself showing on the requests overview page or to be able to filter (or report) by my defined request stages. The defined stages do not appear on the Requests Report so that cannot be used either.

Our workaround for this issue is that a) if a person is dealing with a request (even temporarily - e.g. they are ordering the required book, but won't necessarily be the person doing the digitisation when it arrives), they assign the request to themselves, b) we set up a OneNote notebook for our team relating to digitisations - we have different tabs for the different categories ('Copy Pending', 'Source needs to be acquired'); whoever picks up a request adds a new page for that request number under the appropriate tab, and adds any pertinent info ('Book ordered from supplier X, [date]'). Anyone following along behind you can see what the state of play is with a given request by looking in OneNote, and if a request is assigned to someone we assume that they are actively dealing with it. The OneNote pages get deleted when the digitisation is complete (unless there was something complicated in the history, in which case the page is kept in an older section).

As Alice says - I'm having to click through requests to find the ones that actually need some action.

Yes please, we would really benefit from this too! At the moment we are dependent on clicking through all of the requests to check them or having a ridiculously good memory about which requests we have already dealt with!
