Have the ability to run a report ( which checks for newer editions / e-versions before rollover. It might have to pick up items where last year the lecturer said they were happy with the older edition, but still let us know there were newer edtions after that? We have a policy of not rolling over material unless it's confirmed that the material is required, &
sometimes we don;t get a reply to a renewal email until just before the course starts, start the rollover process , find a potential newer edition, & have to decide between checking with the lecturer, waiting for their reply & sourcing the new edition or rolling over with the old edition which may not be what they actually want.
