Statistics - Views, print & downloads : add the ability to run reports by course time period
Statistics - Views, print & downloads : add the ability to run reports by course time period & have the time period (Semester 1, Semester 1 & 2 Academic year etc) and / or the dates appear in the report.

We are reviewing this idea, as feel it is an important measurement for usage of scans.

It seems very odd that this report isn't easily available as the data is obviously available within the system as the usage date appears in the graph. I'd really like to be able to easily show how much the system is being used and, hopefully, the growth in the usage of the system.

Yes, the possibility of selecting a date range would be very critical indeed. Especially when it is a distant past. We are able to retrieve for example the last 800 days, but not able to select a specific range within that period.
It means the data are there, but we do not have the possibility to choose which days we are interested in.
I would strongly reconsider the functionality. -

I would have thought that being able to user-define the time period for the usage reports would be a given but note that there are comments here going back to Sept 2016 requesting this functionality. It's available for the Course and Requests reporting, why wasn't/isn't/still hasn't this been made available for the usage reports?

We'd really like this as well. Currently I am running a report on the first of each month of the previous 30 days' usage, then editing the data to add schools/faculties and sending it to the subject librarians, just so we can keep tabs on usage. It would be preferable to be able to look up specific date ranges at any point.
I also agree with Peta's comment - really we need to see which digitisations have zero views, as we're reviewing our digitisation policies and would love to know whether there's a pattern to those we shouldn't be bothering with doing proactively, or should be advising academics about if they're requesting things that aren't being viewed!

Further to this idea, I would like to be able to export the number of views, downloads and prints so that i can produce reports that, for example, show how many views there were in November 2017 - rather than relying on the graph (useful as it is- it is not exportable).
I would also like to be able to compare this against Nov 2016, or 2015- but this could be done with some sort of tool/ excel function once the data has been extracted.
For me, whilst I am interested in the total number of views a particular request has had, I am also interested in the TADC global volume of views, which it doesnt seem possible to extract.
I'm beginning to monitor the volume of requests using the CVS downloads but would like something for views unrelated to items- if thats clear.

We would like to have the option to have views, prints and downloads in one report.

I agree the ability to run reports for a specific date range would be very useful.

I would like this functionality (view /print/ download stats) to be available from within reading Lists, so the academic can monitor student engagement.
Eg It would be useful for them to see how many students had read the extract prior to a lecture as requested. -

We would also like the ability to be able to select the date ranges for the report. We don't want to have to run the report on a certain day each month.

We would also like included those that have 0 views, prints downloads as these are ones that we need to investigate and talk to academics about
