The ability to add bib page range when using the Upload new version
When selecting a request from the vault it often overrides the request detail in the original request. This includes where bib pages have already been added. This can be frustrating when a request has already been reviewed and adjusted for accuracy.
As the bib page range does not count towards the 10% allowance, it can be misleading to have it in the main page range. Especially where the allowance is being maximised. We are also re-uploading a lot of requests with OCR adjustments and re-checking page ranges. Therefore, it would be useful to be able to add a separate range…

Hi Guys not to be rude but this is genuinely the hardest software to use
Most reasonably good online book systems actually don't have the book take up the entire screen, so you have to scroll for hours endlessly. Wherewith any other system, it may take me a minute to find the right word this takes forever, Talis give you a content page, but the problem with this is most books sections are hundreds of pages long, and when Talis puts a quarter of 1 page to fill up your screen its futile to scroll through endless information it's like they think we are 300 years old with the eyesight of a mole.

TADC digitisation and adding priorities
I have noticed when academics/staff submit digitisations, you cannot see the priority of the chapter they want digitised - e.g. Core, Recommended or Additional. We try to only digitise items with a Core priority. This creates a loophole for us. We end up spending a lot of money on digitisation requests which we shouldn't be.

Requesting digitisation of documents
The ability to request digitisation of resources when they are given the resource type of 'document'.
Similar to idea 'Requesting digitisation of legal resource' but for documents more generally.
18 votesThe requesting of documents is something Talis are working towards. Currently Talis Aspire Digitised Content only enables you to upload materials that require copyright clearance, but the Talis Player will not only enable you to upload material that needs to be copyright cleared, but also other materials.
Talis have been working with beta partners to develop this, and we will keep you up to date with the wider release of this through the usual updates (webinars, newsletters, events etc).

Exceeded copy limit workflow stage
It would be useful to have an exceeded copy limit workflow stage added to TADC. We found that we have to keep a note of the local workflow stages outside of TADC for requests that exceed the copy limit. For these requests, we check if an e-book is available for purchase and if not, we contact the lecturer asking them to prioritise one chapter. Having a mechanism to monitor those steps in TADC would mean that all information relating to a given request is available in one place.
8 votesWe have noted this piece of work and the advantage this would bring to your workflows. We will keep you updated as this is prioritised.

A communications facility in TADC to alert academics pre-rollover
It's important for us to be able to easily communicate with academics of their current digitisations and whether they would like them rolled over into the next period. Apart from a Bournemouth University issue with unit IDs changing every year which makes the rollover of digitisations essential it is vital that we maintain a communications link within the TADC module between library staff and the academic community engaged with TARL and TADC to preserve the integrity and relevance of content within reading lists

Display Requests in reverse order
By default the requests are listed with the most recently submitted at the top. At this time of year when a lot of requests are coming in (but they are not required until September) we would prefer to work through them in the order they arrive (so start with request 1). We only went live this week but already I have to scroll to page 3 to find the earliest submitted request. Would it be possible to click on the column headings to change the order of the list?
4 votesWe think the idea is valuable and it is in our longer term backlog for review, scoping and prioritising at a later date
