Having experienced this issue a few times it does cause problems. All we can see on our side is that the list is live, so unless the list owner remembers what they have done, or we check the list changes, there is no way to know why the digitisation is not showinng on the list.
If there could be a warning when they click on delete to say 'this request has a digitisation attached, are you sure you want to delete' or something similar, that would be a big help for us.

Whilst the concierge checks the vault and copy limits on any requests received, there may be a need to check in advance of placing a request by digitisation staff, so improved searching is something we would like to address but is not currently in our near term development focus.
It has been placed into moved to the longer term backlog.
Ideas may be graduated from the backlog as we get through the ones that are planned.
I agree, this is really needed. I found a book that we had marked as scanned and wanted to know what we had previously scanned and for what module (being aware of textbook substitution I didn't want to be scanning a different chapter for a different module for one particular course) but I couldn't drill down to anything useful.
I also need to be able to quickly type in a title/ISBN when someone is responding to a permission request (publishers don't always include the code or request number in their responses!) rather than trawl though my e-mails to find the original request.

This would be massive help to keep track of permissions too as we have now had to create a separate spreadsheet to log the permission requests we have made, to whom and when, what request number etc. This is a step backwards and time consuming to have to keep referring to another record for information.
1. With regards to the above scenario's, for the renewals we are having to check back against the catalogue, see how many pages are in the book, see how many pages we have scanned from a publication and calculation whether they are in the 5%. A note/comment which could be carried over at renewal would overcome this.
3. At renewals we are having to print out the catalogue record, go and get the book and check the book, only to find out that the chapter is not contained within it. A retention note would save this headache.
