Whilst the concierge checks the vault and copy limits on any requests received, there may be a need to check in advance of placing a request by digitisation staff, so improved searching is something we would like to address but is not currently in our near term development focus.
It has been placed into moved to the longer term backlog.
Ideas may be graduated from the backlog as we get through the ones that are planned.Philip Testa commented
This is similar to Griffith's request to be able to "search the Vault", by title and author. It would be far quicker and easier to "search the vault" in TADC to see if a digitised item already exists than to have go through the exercise of finding and bookmarking the item, adding it to a list, manually completing the "request digitisation" form, which would create a TADC ticket that would need to be actioned/deleted.

Improving this for students is something we would like to do, but is likely to need a theme in this area.

Requesting the ability to edit "Note For Library" from within the
Reviews screen. Currently, the only way for authenticated Library staff to edit such notes is to go out of the Reviews screen to the originating List, then Edit the list, then select "edit notes and importance", for each bookmarked item. It would be much simpler and quicker to enable the "Note For Library" to be editable from within the Reviews screen, which is the screen Library staff utilise to action and respond to those notes.
