Taking this idea one step further, it would be great if Universities could add their own resource types. You could have: Newspaper, Music Score, eThesis, eJournal and eBook just to name a few. Regarding the default resource types: I’m yet to see an “Audio-visual document” in our library’s collection.
We would like to review the dashboard can be shared with academics where permissions and roles are not given to them.
However, this is not currently in our near term development focus so it has been moved to the longer term backlog.
Ideas may be graduated from the backlog as we get through the ones that are planned.
We have been reviewing this idea following on from the list edit work that has been taking place and would like to now explore this piece further.
This is an example of how an idea may be declined at a point in time but as we explore and develop new areas we do review all ideas past and present and consider them all.
This is a great idea because it means you have the option to publish the archived reading lists sooner. For example publish weeks 1 to 6 and hide weeks 7-12 while you update them.

We are looking to bring the list and list item view together which should alleviate this issue.
I agree, it would be great to have one click access to the items on a reading list. (go directly to the catalogue record, database article, website etc…)
Users could click on a “view details” link under each item in the reading list to display more information if they wish.
