How can we improve Talis Aspire Reading Lists?

Library note for a list

It would be useful to be able to have notes on lists that cannot be read by public users, but which include admin information for system admins. E.g. if a list does not have a hierarchy node, it would be useful to be able to note the changes on the list rather than having to keep that information in a separate system outside the software.

In fact, an admin area for systems notes would be useful overall.

This would be very useful at Essex, particularly where lists do not have any essential items on the list. Currently, we email academics where this is the case to get them set importances, but if there are no essential items we want to put a note on the list so that we don't email the academic each time.

It would be useful if this was clearly visible in reviews.

We have a sizeable number of lists that require notes on the whole list rather than individual items. Being able to include these notes within the TARL system rather than relying on external emails would make it much easier to keep track of these issues.

We would support this at University of Stirling. It would be very useful to have a space where library staff could add a note about the overall list not items.
There are instances where you may deviate from normal procedure in list naming or structure and it would be helpful to have somewhere to share that.
