Function to edit details of a request once it's live, without having to withdraw it first.
We would really like to be able to add ISBNs and ISSNs and other necessary metadata to a live request without having to withdraw it first. If you withdraw it you lose it from the vault. When it comes to CLA reporting you have to have the ISBN/ISSN to submit the report, but lecturers aren't forced to use it when they submit requests. I know that it would then recheck and give it a new number, but at least it would still all be linked up to the correct reading list as hadn't been withdrawn. This would make CLA report week so much easier!
Following work to improve edit request details in Talis Aspire Digitised Content it is now possible to edit a live request without withdrawing and re-raising the request.
More detail on this can be seen here: https://support.talis.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000209925-Edit-request-Talis-Aspire-Digitised-Content
Like others this would be useful eg amending module details outside of the rollover

We would love to have this implemented ASAP as changing request dates for requests that are already live would be a MAJOR improvement to the current workflow of withdrawing them.

Any ideas on how soon this will be implemented?

An edit function would be great - either to change/correct bibliographic data or to be able to change student numbers when something has rolled over automatically at the start of the academic year.

The ability to edit live requests would be most welcome to avoid the problems above and below.
Details of the expected implementation of this development would be useful too.
Any news on when this function will be introduced? We are keen for the ability to edit module code and requester details outside of rollover as well as any other necessary changes without having to withdraw requests and start over.

Or make ISBN / ISSN a mandatory field earlier in the process (if not at submission, then at review)
Also it would be good to be able to edit the requester details without having to withdraw and resubmit. This would be a help where items are submitted by library staff on behalf of academics.
